Maintenance Reset Using Diesel Laptops Diagnostic Kit with TEXA Software

Watch as we get hooked up to a JCB Telehandler 500 series with JCB ecomax engine. We will be using a Diesel Laptops OHW Diagnostic Kit powered by TEXA IDC5 software. Let's kick off with a walkthrough of the software and then we will explain how to do a maintenance reset. The process will be very similar on any other machine as it is on the JCB Telehandler we will be doing the demo on today. 

As you may have seen in other Diesel Laptops videos this off-highway kit is a great tool for equipment owners that want to perform dealer level commands like derates and injector cut out tests, view/clear fault codes, see live data, view/change parameters and much more. The kit also comes with DTC Solutions Off Highway Edition which is the only software on the market that gives you this level of repair information and wiring diagrams for construction and farming equipment.

Maintenance Reset on Diesel Laptops Off-Highway Kit

Performing a maintenance reset can be knocked out with just a few steps using the TEXA Off-Highway software:

1. Connect to the machine and select ‘HYDRAULIC MANAGEMENT’

2. Click ‘START’ and swap your connectors if needed

3. Go to the ‘SETTINGS’ tab and select ‘SERVICE HOURS RESET’

4. Use the up and down hours to change the amount of hours you want to reset & hit confirm. Done!
