Allison DOC®: How to Install, Update, and Transfer Your Subscription
If your shop services Allison transmissions, you know Allison DOC® is the only authorized diagnostic software for troubleshooting and programming Allison propulsion systems. This guide walks you through the full process, including the required account setup and software installation.
Step 1: Create Your Allison HUB Account (Required)
Before downloading or installing Allison DOC, you must first create an Allison HUB account. This is now required before any subscription can be issued.

Account Setup Overview:
- Go to: https://hub.allisontransmission.com
- Click “Request an account”
- Create a username and enter your email address
- Check your email for a confirmation message from Allison
- Click “Continue Registration” in the email
- Select your preferred language
- Complete all required fields
Important Registration Notes:
- You must uncheck “I have an assigned Customer Code”
- Select the following:
- Organization Type: General User
- Business Type: General User
- Role: General User
- Enter your full address and contact information
- Accept the Conditions of Access
- Submit your registration
Important: Account Approval Time
Once submitted, Allison will review and approve your account.
- Approval can take up to 1 business day
- Diesel Laptops cannot expedite this process
You will not be able to move forward until your account is approved.

Allison DOC Installer.exe
This is the main installer.
Last updated 09/25/2025 to include all updates released up to that date.
If you installed software downloaded from 09/22–09/24, uninstall it and reinstall the updated version to fix missing components.
AllisonSupplementaryFiles.msi
Includes necessary DAT and VMC packages.
Should be installed after the main installer for improved performance.
AllisonSupplementaryFiles_2025K252.zip
Contains newer supplemental DAT/VMC packages for the 2025 K252 software update.
Allison DOC Classic (Pre-5th Gen & Hybrid Controls)

Updated 11/05/2025 to add new features and fix several issues found in v2025.7.
Fixes include:
- License recognition issues
- Errors with 5th/6th Gen TCM connections
- Crashes during refresh subscription
- Improved functionality with CEC translators
- FuelSense fixes for 5th/6th Gen Snapshot recordings
Adds Premium – Extended subscription support.
