While we recommend using the Nexiq USB Link 3 (or USB Link 2), Diesel Explorer Off-Highway will work with all datalink adapters that are commonly used with other aftermarket and OEM software. For machines with a Cummins engine without a 9 pin connector, a Nexiq 3 pin cable will be required to hook directly to the engine ECM.
