Start of two-day south coast tour.
Walk behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall, feel the rainbow mist at Skógafoss, and roam the otherworldly Reynisfjara black-sand beach with its basalt columns and sea stacks as we thread past lava fields, glacier tongues, and windswept shores.
We’ll pause in Kirkjubæjarklaustur and overnight near Skaftafell and if skies cooperate, we’ll chase the Northern Lights. - Saturday, March 28th
We roll into Vatnajökull National Park for the glassy blues of Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach, then gear up to enter a natural ice cave, Crystal Ice Cave, guided and fully equipped.
We’ll swing through the coastal village of Vík, then aim back to Reykjavík around 9:00 PM. - Sunday, March 29th
